Since the company has high demand of supply for its ”Flap Wheel Sander”-a component of a sanding machine typically used for polishing an object which is useful and proven efficient for the production process, the company initiated a livelihood program where luckily chosen beneficiaries are the neighboring residents of Pedro Hills(PH), Sitio Sandayong, Sunog, Balamban ,Cebu City with the primary aims to help the community especially those with no regular income. Even if they are just staying at home they can able to earn money to support their daily needs. It was then introduced to the barangay captain-Jose Bebelunio Pepito and tackled the requirements and conditions for the program. Last March 20 this year, Natures Legacy team conducted a short meeting in Pedro Hills. Present in the meeting are NLE management, barangay officials and residents who are interested. The meeting was all about explaining the details of the program and a demo and tutorial session led by one of NLE staff on step by step process of making a “Flap Wheel Sander”.After which, is the proper turnover of materials and tools.
